Amanda Brown grew up dancing competitively at the age of four in Calgary, AB, where she trained in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical and Musical Theatre. Growing up she was trained through the R.A.D syllabus focusing greatly on Ballet technique. After graduating she worked abroad for four years dancing for Carnival Cruise Lines traveling around North and South America. She got the opportunity to work with dancers from all over the world, learn new styles and perform on stage every night. Amanda is in her twelfth year of teaching specializing in Jazz, Tap and Lyrical. Over the years her competitive groups have won high scores and received choreography awards. Choreography is her favourite aspect of teaching and tries to find new and creative ideas for her routines each year. By attending and dancing in different conventions, Amanda tries to stay with current styles and techniques.
